winter driving and saving gas question?

if its -8 C outside should i start the car n start driving
or should i warmup the car engine for a 2-3 minutes b4 drivinig
which one is better for fuel efficiency?
note: i do not have a block heater

Indeed, let the engine warm up for a few minutes before driving. Also remember that all the other moving parts ( transmission, brakes, driveline, etc ) will be cold as well

Cars that dont warm up tends to die faster than cars that get warmed up, so warm up the car first. If you’re cold, then that means the car is too.
