I would like to start a nation wide save some gas bike club.
No fees. Just get a bike. You in? All could save some fuel everyday with a simple bike ride.
That is a good idea, but most people live far from work so, it will be hard to get to work riding a bike. Not to mention they will expend more time on the street, cause it will take longer to get where you want.
I started biking to work about 4 years ago when gas went to $2.00 a gallon. I put more miles on the bike each year than I do on the car. The main incentive is to save myself some money, but if it saves gas, then that’s OK too.
I ride my bike every day already — so I am in — just not for work. I can’t ride my bike to work as I have to cover a quarter of the state. I drove 49,730(logged) miles last year to conduct business. I WISH I could ride to work, but like today I put on 150 miles, I would spend all my working hours just getting there and back.
Comments on Will you ride a bike to save fuel for our nation once a week?
No , I’m trying to cut down on my personal CO2 emissions.

I already do, and way more than just 1x per week.
Why do I need to join a club?
I don’t own a car
As soon as I replace my bike
