Will using the overdrive on a Durango help save fuel?

- Overdrive is turned off while driving always on mine.

Yes, it is why it is there…only works good in 2 wd tho, and at constant highway speeds…

Of course it will save fuel, that is what it is for. It allows the engine to run at lower RPM while driving at highway speeds. Most will kick into OD at about 50mph.
