will transit flights save fuel for the company?
what i mean is when instead of going to all the way to australia, you take a plane to, say, bangkok and take another flight to australia. if not what kind of flight would save fuel for the company? thanks a lot!

I can’t see how landing and taking off again will save fuel for anyone. Just like driving, slowing down and speeding up use more fuel than keeping a consistent, steady speed. So a direct flight is going to save fuel.
It does not save money in fuel, it is a way for the airline to move larger amounts of people. It will make more money bringing alot of people from different areas to bankok and then having a flight to australia, rather than 5 flights to australia from 5 different places.
