uh…because gas prices will be high, and it will cost you money? their is also that thing called global warming. helping the envirment, is uhh good? if you care for the future of the planet, you should probably help.
conserving helps keep the cost down & reduces your own footprint
Electricity may still be around many centuries if we go nuclear. It will take a long time to convert to nuclear on a grand scale… about 30 years for starters.
We do have lots of natural gas in the arctic, but we have not really started getting ready to deliver that. That will take 20 years.
Urgent requests by the US administration to get those Alaska reserves on stream asap are not a signal that we can keep on using as always. major constraints are imminent.
It’s all about saving you money in the future (excessive use = increased costs) and also the small problem with pollution! If you exhaust energy for no good reason, all you’re doing is hurting the environment. with that you will pay the consequences in the near future. We’re feeling the effects right now with the unpredictable climate
gas and oil is running out quicker than you think, by 2025, you will see a definite lack of fossil fuel. we need fuel, wind, or water to generate electricity, without oil gas or vegetable fuel how will we be able to generate enough electricity to meet the demand?
cause it makes us rich if we save things now

It will save you money. Other than that, no reason.
Gas and electricity are becoming more and more expensive. Surely you have something better to do with your money than hand it over to the utility companies.
