Why does my Honda Del Sol 1994 stalls on my when I come to a complete stop?

I have a fuel injected Honda del sol and lately it has been stalling on me when I break. The idle will drop to stall. It doesn’t do it all the time. Usually when I fill the tank up, it doesn’t stall as much. I have been using a lower grade gas recently to save money. The manual says it requires Premium Unleaded. I switched back to Premium but I think the old fuel is still mixed in there. Could using lower grade fuel cause my stalling problem?

It’s a standard transmission, and you forget to push in the clutch.

Or, the idle is set too low and needs to be increased (even though it’s set by the computer and isn’t adjustable)

Or, you have tried to save a buck and are using a sub-standard fuel like regular when it calls for premium.

Hmmmm, which could it be?

My daughters 94 Ford Probe was doing the same thing…stalling at a complete stop…she had a burnt plug wire….a new set of plug wires and new distributor cap..and she was back on the road. However, I probably would run that tank of fuel completely out before putting any more in it..and go back to the grade of fuel the manual says it requires….
