drain out all the water and only put in ana-freeze cause the water keeps freezing like it was doing in my ford escort im guessing and if the water is frozen its not getting through the car so it dies out.
the choke is not working, that’s why revving it keeps it running, more fuel, richer mixture, if it has a carburetor, get the choke working again.
you know your starter is ok because it’s starts
Is your fuel pump new too and check your spark plugs
if it dies it’s either one of too things it’s not getting gas or the gas it’s getting is tainted check to see if their is water in the gas
try adding a fuel booster.
Check the Idle Air Control valve. It is a cylinder shaped, shiny silver object attached to the side of the throttle body. Tap on the IAC a few times with the wooden end of a hammer or the end of a screwdriver with the ignition key on and then try to start and see if the idle goes up, it sounds like the IAC valve is the problem.
Remove, Clean, Reinstall & Adjust the Throttle Body! Check the Throttle Position Sensor, Check & Replace the EGR Valve. How are the Spark Plugs & Wires?
