cause there dumb
Cause they don’t want us, their slaves, to jump ship and destroy their goverment. After all, they bought and paid for their politicians, not us. MUTINY MUTINY MUTINY
Not everyone who owns a hybrid has a private jet. Many many of my middle-class friends own hybrids. So let’s dispel the “hybrid drivers use private jets” arguement.
I think that, like all people, rich people do what is easy and don’t want to give anything up. Just like most of us.
People who buy hybrids do so because they can make a “green” choice without giving anything up. What should they do instead? Not buy a car at all? Buy a regular car?
Because some people buy hybrids, the automotive companies have a reason to continue research on making “green” cars cheaper and more available. I, for one, appreciate that there are people willing to pay for “green” choices that don’t yet make economic sense.
I suspect that your beef is that you feel they are being hypocritical – not that they buy hybrids. You probably feel (not to put words in your mouth) that they should do other things first – like travel less or buy smaller homes. But being hypocritical is not a quality that is reserved for the rich. There is plenty of hypocricy to go around in this country.
I’m sorry that humanity doesn’t meet your expectations. It often falls short of my expectations, too.
I’m assuming, by the way, that you were looking for a real answer. If not, please change my answer to “Yeah! Those rich people! They’re jerks and hypocrits! What are they thinking, buying fuel efficient cars? How stupid!”
Don’t say “Rich People”. It’s only “Rich Liberals”.
