which saves more Gas. Driveing with the AC on or driveing with your windows down?
I was told when you ride with your windows down the wind slows your car down and the car works harder to maintain your current mph. On the contrary, i was told running AC burns a lot of gas as well. Which burns more GAS?

Air conditioning takes from 8-18 % more gas depending on the vehicle.
I do not know the math for windows being open.
Driving with the windows open burns more gas. Also, it is very noisy.
Mythbusters tested this question and found that AC uses more gas than open windows. I still use my AC because I would rather buy gas than listen to the wind noise with the windows open.
AC uses more gas than windows down, having your windows down has very little effect on your milage if at all
