Which motorcycle can save more gas?
I’m planning buy a motorcycle or scooter. Can you tell me some motorcycle or scooter can save more gas(the MPG 50+ will be better)?

first bike was a suzuki gs 450 – 48mpg
now kawisaki vulcan 800 – 43mpg
would be better on highway, but i ride 60 miles up and down a mountain road

The smaller, the slower, the less gasoline you will use. How small you can go depends on how fast you need to go to keep up with traffic.
For speeds to 30 mph, a 50cc motor-driven cycle will suffice and get up to 100 mpg.
For speeds to 50 mph a 125-150cc will suffice, get about 80 mpg.
For speeds to 70 mph, a 250, about 70 mpg.
For faster speeds, 300 to 650 cc and 50-60 mpg.
