When a car’s fuel tank is almost empty, is it better to drive quickly or slowly to the nearest gas station?
what saves more gas?
so SLOW it is!.. (altough i thought it would be fast so that the car sort of glides without alot of fuel) anyway thanx ur all real helpful.. i’ll leave it for the voting

Driving slowly saves more gas.
I always drive super fast in hopes that if I run out of gas I can at least coast a mile or so
but if you drive more slowly you save more gas, naturally.
Drive quickly so you’ll get there before you run out of gas.
slowly in high gear eats ups less gas
Slowly is better with your windows up and nothing else running.
slow and efficient
ok so in return i have a question, so when you need to drive to this gas station, did your guage go from full to empty like it just returned from the outer limits?its better to keep it above 1/4 always. wanna stop for gas in an emergency?
Well that aint hard to figure out if you are almost out of gas the best thing to do is drive the speed limit and use your cruise control I always fill up before I leave town but when I forget and im on the road I use the cruise control on my car and drive the speed limit…
the faster you drive the more fuel your vehicle uses so take it easy
Always drive slowly. Acceleration may give you more torque than power, thus wasting precious fuel.
