What’s the best way to get save gas?

5

I’m looking for the best way to get more MPG on my car, I have an SUV and 2 kids so obviously it’s a lot of money. I don’t want to spend any money on products etc, just the best way to get better mileage. Thank you.

This question has been answered many times before in this group. Just drive slower and drive easier. Accelerate slower and stay at 65 and lower.
And drive less.

don’t drive aggressively, once your at a speed try and remain at that speed, don’t accelerate hard. these are small things but they will affect your gas milage

Great Q!

I’ve recently read and reviewed a great guide with gas-saving tips. It costs a bit of money, but it’s well worth it in my opinion. Visit http://savegasguide.net/ to check out my detailed review.

As others have said, driving under 65MPH and driving conservatively are two of the best tips anyone can give out.

Best of luck to you!

Drive at or slightly under the speed limit is the number one way. Whenever you go over 55mph, you use an outrageous amount of gas.

When you pull away from a stop sign or a light, let the car accelerate at its own rate. Jackrabbit starts burn a lot of gas. It’s o. k. to let that jerk in the yellow Edsel get ahead of you

Lighten the load. Don’t carry anything you don’t need to. Leaving your rock collection in the car for a year is a bad idea. Every pound of
weight uses more gas.

Don’t make unnecessary trips and carpool when you can.

Get the car tuned up, at least change the spark plugs every six months, whether or not the mechanic says that you need to.
