a block of wood under the gas pedal to allow it only to go down so far…thats the best fuel saving device.
that being said, what kawasaki said is the best answer…proper maintenance and driving the speed limit without jackrabbit stops/starts will help.

ive heard of many types of miracle devices but few of them do anything useful. the water disassociation devices that make hydrogen are an iteresting idea though since they can utilize maybe a small portion of energy that would otherwise be wasted when the engine is under light load/no load. if you have a diesel the best “miracle devices” you can find are a turbo charger and propane injection in that order. if you have a gas engine don’t expect more power and efficiency its not likely. just keep your engine in tune and use well inflated tires. you could consider water injection but most people consider it an unattractive idea. also reprogramming your computer can be useful in some cases.

Contrary to some claims I never knew of such devices that saves fuel and at the same time increases its power. Unless, of course, if it’s augmented by other forms of fuel which are less costly or even free.
An example is the attachment of a solar powered hydrogen generator above a vehicle’s roof top. Hydrogen produced is slowly fed to the engine’s combustion chamber together with the usual fuel…

the best fuel device is keeping your car tuned right .air pressure in your tires and how far you push on the gas pedal.
