What’s the best deal in American cars these days?
I have about $10K to spend on a car. I like manual transmissions and cars of all kinds. Any tips on a great buy? I know people are going for the Japanese lawnmowers to save fuel, but I don’t really care about fuel consumption. I just like nice, tight cars.
Let me know what you think is the best!

KIA or Saturn
I am assuming you mean ‘American’ as a vehicle that is made by either GM, Ford or Chrysler, right?
Even though you do know that my friend’s Camry is more American than my neighbor’s Ford Fusion? Camry is made with 80% American parts and the Fusion is made in Mexico with 50%+ foreign parts.
If you can find something like a 2000-2001 Ford Mustang GT. That would be the ‘tightest domestic’ car in your price range.
