that all depends on where you are running your boat and how you have it trimmed out. dose your boat have adjustable trim and tilt? are you running in fresh water or in the ocean. tidal flows and currents all play a factor in figuring what prop to use. a good answer needs more info. how much weight is loaded in the boat?
Sorry but I need this info to help out.
You could switch to a 15 x 19 which will give you lower rpm’s and more top end speed but allowing you to back off a little thus saving some fuel. Disadvantage is the boat will be slower getting on a plane.
If your going to purchase a new prop go with a company that has a try first program. Several companies are out there to give you the help you need to answer your question. They prop your boat to accomplish your needs. If you not satisfied with the results you have the option to trade for a new pitch and size until you are happy with the results.
