What is the gas mileage like on a 2002 Toyota 4runner SR5 front wheel drive?

Any local Toyota dealership will have this mileage information for you. Based on average driving because some drivers are ‘harder’ on vehicles than others. As for ways to save on gas, keep the vehicle’s engine in good condition with oil changes and clean filters; stop & start at a decent rate and avoid “jackrabbit” starts which burn alot more fuel. If you’re in a state with cold winters, keep it plugged in or in a garage so less energy is required to warm it up, burn fuel for that. Use a higher grade fuel like ethanol which is cleaner burning for your engine wear.
