I have a 1999 Cadillac DeVille It uses only premium gas. i travel the thruway sometimes for hours. What is the best speed to travel at? i use cruise control.

Well the best way for sure is to leave it on crusie and try not to accelerate and then slow down alot, and find a good RPM for your engine(if you have a gage on the dash your luckily) when you accelerate you will probably be able to hear which the engine shifts try to keep it a little bit above that(you should be able to hear it shift into the highest gear, in a sense it knows when your on the highway) with the rpm’s lower it should use less gas.
50. Anything over that uses substantially more gas.
(And if you ever are really close to running out of gas, drive 30 consistently is the most efficient.)
