what is the best fuel economy car today, aside from the hybrid ones?
I work far from my house (36.7 miles, one way) and I wanted to buy a car that will save me a lot of money based on fuel consumption… help me pls…

Probably a new Toyota Corolla
Smartcar.com New to America almost 60 miles a gallon. A Europein favorite smart cars have beed made for about 6 years over there. Honda Has some basic gasoline savers. Most all the entry level cars like Yarus and Versa get around 35 to a gallon.
Well a hybrid is a poor choice unless you will be traveling at extremely low speeds. I would strongly suggest the nissan versa for its reliability dependability and excellent milage as well as good ride and interior space
