1. Try to do as much “highway” driving as possible to get to your destination, city driving eats up alot of gas while stopping and going.
2. Use a smaller vehicle, a 4-cyl engine eats up alot less gas than a huge SUV.
3. Carpool!

Something very simple, that many people fail to do…is to check the air pressure in the tires! Don’t know how many people I see everyday on the side of the road in the cold, wet weather changing their tire, when all they had to do is kick it before they left the driveway!
Get an old diesel engine machine and research bio-diesel that you can get your hands on in your area. Possible bio-diesels include used grease from fast food restaurants. This is renewable – obviously, with all the fast food eaten in North America these days – and it burns clean. It’s the next best thing to a hydro-electric car.
(If we can cut back on petroleum fuels from the Middle East, maybe we won’t have to send arms and military to various countries and create unnecessary hostilities
