What is a good fuel efficient car with four wheel drive and a good towing capacity?
I am sixteen years old and am looking at getting my first car. My family recently bought a boat and need to tow it to the lake twice a year. The winters are cold and snowy where I live so i would like four wheel drive. I also would like good mpg to save money. About 25 combined would be my preference. If anyone has a suggestion that would be great

How big a boat are you talking? Anything that has enough towing capacity to tow say a 3000 pound boat and has 4WD probably won’t get 25 MPG overall. The hybrid Escape or Hybrid Highlander will probably be your best bet.
Freddy George,
Depending on how much your boat weighs, I would say you should go with a Chevrolet TrailBlazer or GMC Envoy. They have four wheel drive capabilities and get decent gas mileage for an SUV. I advise you to check out GM Certified on the web to take a look at these vehicles.
Thank you!

Nothing that can tow a real trailer over 1000lbs will get anywhere near 25mpg combined with 4 wheel drive. Even my wife’s V6 Acura MDX only has a 4500lb towing capacity and it only gets about 20mpg combined, 15mpg when towing. And that’s better than any other vehicle I looked at. Even the new V6 mustangs barely get 25mpg combined, so you’re wanting more from a vehicle than can be delivered.
