every gas light ive ever seen comes on when there is 1/8th of a tank left, and if you’ve only driver 10 miles with the light on you will be completely safe to make it to the gas station. you can also gently press the gas and roll through stop signs
turn off all electrical switches no lights fan or anything. Also you can shift it into neutral while you go to get more distance for your travel to the gas station. If you have any down grade put it in N but do not turn off the key. Just switch it in and out as you go so you can make it to Gas station.
If it’s a manual transmission, put the clutch in and cost down hills. If it’s an automatic, don’t hit the gas hard and you should be ok.
if your car gets better than 20mpg youll make it.
Get a gas container.
and go get somee.
