What are you doing to save money on gas?

Not a thing.

We all went to motorcycles as much as possible with kids it is hard so we went to planning our trips more in the city less standing in traffic

I’m trying to drive a little more intelligently, rather than on autopilot. I’m looking much farther ahead at the flow of traffic, trying to coast a long way before coming to a stop at a light, or preferrably coasting long enough that I don’t have to stop.

I’m also trying to start gently, and drive it slowly when first starting cold. There are a couple of intersections I go through that have long lights. If I get there shortly after it turned red, I turn my car off until the cross traffic gets their yellow light.

It’s actually making a slight difference. My average mileage according to the trip computer is about 1 mpg higher than before.

I leave the windows down, instead of running the a/c, and usually catch a ride with someone he is going where i am going most of the time to save money on gas.I have had a tune up on my car to also save on gas.

I plan my trips more carefully now. I run all my errands in one trip now. I keep a shopping list, so that I don’t run completely out of any necessities and have to run to the store for one or two things. If I do end up having to run to the store, I take a minute to thing what else I need in the neighborhood. Also, when I think of it, I ask my neighbors if they need anything from the store, saving them a trip.

Driving less. That is all I can do.

I’m driving my Corvette around instead of using my Helicopter. I’m going to have to tune up the copter though because I can’t stand all the looks I get in the Vette.
