Do you feel your’e giving anything up? I feel a little guilty about driving foreign made. I recently traded a 2000 300M for a 1984 300SD going from 21mpg to 45mpg, just want more ideas. Has anyone tried a biodisel home converter, or Greasecar, any info problems?

I am doing the easiest thing possible – conserving by not driving. However, I own a 2002 VW Beetle Turbo Diesel. I do not feel guilty as I am not supporting Middle Eastern terrorists. I have a local friend with an older Mercedes diesel who buys biofuel diesel at a local station – no mods necessary to his car.
