Buy a horse and ride him to work.
driving as little as possable with the price of gas the way it is
Walking to do errands, instead of driving.
Carpool. Do a tune up.. new air filter, plugs, check the tires for proper inflation and good general maintenence. Try to run errands and do things in one trip while I’m out so I don’t have to make random trips.
Nothing, they don’t seem to care about it here in Morocco!
cut down on my speed. basically, that is all i can do. I quit driving my truck unless necessary and drive a boring car. Untill i get done remodelling my house, i cannot sell it and move closer to work (45min away without traffic). That may take 1-2 years at this rate. So, I have not calculated it yet, but i am going from 80mph to 65-70…..which should help a little. my dad drives 55 now (e ghads!) and gets 40mpg out of his 01 civic 5spd that way. i am nto at the point where i need to spend $ on a better mpg car to save $….but that may change in a year or two.
I work from home.
ride a bike to work. It uses no gas.
got rid of my gas lawn mower and got an electric.
Bought a motorcycle to ride to work….43 MPG!!!
