Try not to spill any.
Someone once told me that in order to save on re-fueling you vehicle you should:
1. Don’t put gas in your car in the heat of the day. Try re-fueling during early mornings or cooler nights
2. When putting gas in your car, don’t put it on the fuel fast notch. Let the gas flow slow to fill.
3. When you see a gas station semi-truck refueling the station, don’t put gas in your car until the truck is done.
Fill up at a station like BP or Hess where you get rewards back and don’t spill any.
Check the air in your tires. low tire pressure increases rolling resistance.
For MAXIMUM economy add 4-6 psi to the recommended pressure on the drivers side door.
With a MAXIMUM of 40 PSI. This will stiffen the side wall for better performance and stability.
Hope this helps and
Good Luck
