What Are Some Tips For Saving Gas?
I’ve heard that it takes more gas to start/keep starting your car than to just let it running.
I’ve heard that cruise control on the highway acctually takes up more gas.
I’ve heard that constent acceleration then stopping (Stop Sing to another stop sing, ect.) takes up more gas.
Can anyone help me with these myths and tell me if any of them are true.

I’ve found slowing down gives the best results, slowing from 75 to 65 can save 5 mpg !

There’s tons of answers you can find out about saving gas on the internet as well as yahoo answers, u can try searching but from the top of my head.
When you stop at anywhere, stop sig, stop lights, etc. Be easy on the gas pedal. Accelerating in a car takes more fuel. also if you know you’re coming up to a stop or slow down, traffic or a stop light, let off the gas ahead of time and just allow the car to roll there.
I have found that starting up my car uses a lot more gas than letting it run for up to five or even ten minutes. And acceleration from slow or stop uses up more than steady driving. Not sure about the cruise control one, but I’ve heard it’s true.
accelerate slow, keep the cars RPMs low
