What are some good ways to save on gas????
Obviously NOT DRIVING so you don’t have to post that because that’s just common sense. I’m not a big public transportion person either. I’m a big seller on ebay and i just started shipping things from my mailbox instead of going to the post office so that’s going to save me money too. but are there any other ways to save money on gas?

Yes. Car pool when you have to go somewhere. Turn down the temperature in your house by a degree or two. Use an electric lawn mower.

Always make sure to have your tires full, it makes a huge difference in the gas mileage you get.
Also, drive 55 mph instead of higher. That will save you as well.

The speed you drive makes a difference. the slower you drive the better gas milage you get. No AC, speeding up, don’t do it so quick, just do it gradually. Then as far as making trips for things, try to save everything to make one trip to town, do it all at once. Try to go to one big place to get everything you need instead of 4 different places. I just read an artical about how mopeds are coming back in style because of gas prices!
Make your plans to combine trips. For example, if you want to go to the library or the DVD rental place and the library or DVD rental place is near the grocery store, plan to go during your trip to the grocery store. Shop on line and let UPS do the driving.
1: carpool
2: get tune up
3: make sure tires are inflated to correct pressure
4: take everything out of car you do not need…less weight to move down the road..
5: do not have a full gas tank..because gas has a lot of weight to it..so why carry extra weight if you do not have to..
6: take the bus
7: use a moped
8: ride a bicycle
9: have some one else drive you around on a bicycles
10: walk
11: drive real slow
12: marry a rich person
13 marry an oil sheik
and there are many more
but there are the most common and useful ones
