Keep track of your gas mileage and always try to improve your MPG.
Take a look at sites regarding Hypermiling. Type in Hypermiling into YouTube. As many hypermilers will tell you, the person behind the wheel is the most important part of high gas mileage. Make it a game. Every time you better your base MPG reading, set aside the extra money and save it for………..a trip, new electronic gear, clothing, etc.
Or just put the extra money in the bank and build up an emergency fund.

Well, the best way to keep yourself from speeding is to keep an eye on your speedometer. I drive a manual stick shift so that helps me to keep a tabs on how fast I’m going. If you drive an automatic then make sure to pay attention to how fast you are going. Also keep a check on the speed in your area. By looking at the speed limit and knowing what it is, it helps you to make a mental note of how fast you should be going. Also letting up on the gas pedal helps to conserve on gas while keeping your speed down. Also one other thing to note, if you must listen to music, try to listen to soft music. The loud or fast paced music may contribute to increased speeds. I should know, I listen to music every time I drive my car. I also got a speeding ticket recently so I understand what its like to speed and be penalized for it.
