What are some cheap fuel efficient cars?
I am saving up for a more fuel efficient car under $7000. I am staying away from Toyota. I am looking for something nice and fun but great on gas. Any suggestions?
Thanks so much! I don’t really need a motorcycle. I need something to get me around since I am on the go all the time.

I was going to suggest a Toyota Corolla, but since you don’t want a Toyota, then I would suggest a Honda of some kind.
Check out a small motorcycle…can’t get much more efficient than them.
chevy cobalt is the coolest and is good on gas
Consumer Reports says that the Honda Fit has the overall cheapest ownership cost of any vehicle. Gas mileage is close to what a Prius gets and it is about $20,000 cheaper. Reliability has been excellent and safety is very good also. You can probably get a great used one for about that price.
a fiat 500. there new petrol engines are supposedly the most fuel efficient petrol engines available but it’s still great to drive. i advise stay away from diesel engines there noisy and slow aswell as more expensive to buy.
honestly toyota would be the best option. But if not i’d go with honda. Just toyotas last longer than honda but hondda lasts longer than all the others besides toyota
try
Honda Civic
Ford Focus
Nissan Sentra.
or you probably can find a Honda Insight (hybrid) for $7000.00
get a Nissan Versa, its about 10k new, but you can easily find one under that used.
Honda Fit
Ford Focus
Chevy Aveo
Dodge Neon
Honda Civic
Nissan Sentra
etc, theres a lot of ‘em out there.
