Nothing, because they don’t have to meet CAFE standards, they just pay a tax.
what is CAFE
None, because trucks with real engines can’t get the mileage that you’re suggesting they get. CAFE, is CORPORATE average fuel economy, so no one vehicle is required to get any specific mileage (just look at the fuel economy of a dodge viper if you don’t believe me), but the average of all cars sold by the company has to meet 25mpg. CAFE is BS and should be eliminated. It’s just another way for the government to try to control your life by telling you what you have to drive by regulating the mileage. Kill it.
