v10 dodge trucks gas saving tips?
I do not wont to sell it, it is a work truck it pulls my 24 ft. trailer just like it is not there. it gets about the same mpg with it or with out it.

Sell it and get a more fuel efficient vehicle
Don’t race it, and stay within the speed limits.
Either sell it, or get a good air induction kit!
You get a V10 and now can’t pay for the gas?? what a shame… what next.. a house?? and can’t pay the mortgage??? there is no saving gas tips for a V10

Towing a trailer should make a significant difference, even if it tows it “like it is not there.”
Either your vehicle is horribly out of tune (I doubt this is the case, but I can only guess), or else you need to make some huge changes in your driving habits. See links below.
But…to be brutally honset, the best way to improve your mileage is to make a lifestyle change. Do you need the 24′ trailer? Do you need a truck that tows that trailer “like it is not there”? This isn’t a question of what you can afford, but a question of, “is it really necessary, reasonable, one might even say ‘decent’.” Just because you can doesn’t mean you should.

I am a big chrysler and dodge fan. I have owned 2 mini vans. When I worked at a dealership people were complaining all the time about the gas mileage of the v10. The best thing to do if you have to pull much of a load is to buy an older ram with a 5.9 diesel. You won’t be sorry. We use to say the only thing the v10 was good for was a boat anchor. Sorry.
