top 10 ways to save gas: hang with the trucks?
Can you please explain why ” in bad traffic jams, cars seem to constantly speed up and slow down, while trucks tend to roll along at the same leisurely pace?” It was listed as one of the ways to save gas.

because ppl are impatient…only do like 30 miles a day average, and really how many of those ppl your referring to would you want driving a truck any way
your right, we should mello…but as a people can we?
if your talking about a tractor and trailer the reason they do that is because they downshift alot. in a car its different. truckers allways downshift so they dont come to a dead stop like at an intersection cause its kind of a pain to get them going again.
yes hang with the trucks. stay behind them so the wind drag on your car is less cause the truck in front of you is reducing your wind resistence and making you have better fuel economy. the closer you are. the better. but the truckers hate it and might give you a break check. lol..
get really close to the trucks and save yourself a few bucks,then when the truck blows a tire and you end up with it in your windshield you will realize it was a bad idea.
