I commute 90 miles each way to work and I need to save some of this money! Quitting my job or transferring is not an option. I already bought a fuel efficient car (38 mpg), but I’m thinking about staying in the town where I work for a couple of nights a week!
Are there special hotels or extended stay business suites? Any affordable solutions to stay where I work for a couple of days?

I am 14, so I will own a car in about 3 or 4 years, but I getting serous about saving for a vehicular device. So far I’ve been looking at the 2009 Mini Cooper JCW hardtop (engine: 1.6L I4; horsepower: 208 @ 6,000rpm; torque: 192 ft-lbs @ 1850rpm; curb weight: 2,701lbs) and the 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt SS Coupe (engine: 2.0L I4; horsepower: 260 @ 5,300rpm; torque: 260 ft-lbs @ 2,000rpm; curb weight: 2,926lbs).
According to their 2004 counterparts (2005 for the Cobalt – no 2004 model), the Cobalt should be about $9,000 when I buy, and the Mini should be about $13,000.
So I’m looking for a fuel-efficient car (30-ish mpg?) with some power that is in the $10,000ish range at the time of purchase.

Limited engine or the 5.7L engine? I heard that the 5.7 is more fuel saving because it has more technology ( shutting 4 Cylinders when R.P.M is less than 3), what do u think?

I do a lot of stop and go, and a lot of highway, so my driving habits are mixed. What are the best possible plugs I can put in my car? Also I think I’d rather save fuel than boost performance. I don’t care how much these cost, just looking for the best.

I have about $10K to spend on a car. I like manual transmissions and cars of all kinds. Any tips on a great buy? I know people are going for the Japanese lawnmowers to save fuel, but I don’t really care about fuel consumption. I just like nice, tight cars.
Let me know what you think is the best!
