I have a vehicle that defaults to Overdrive turned ON, but I would like to know if turning Overdrive off will save me gasoline when driving to and from work in a cityscape.

I know people that always have their air conditioners turned off because they say that it saves them fuel. I want to know if it’s a big difference or not.

I would only do it at a really long light. So if there are red lights on your commute that you know are always long, and you get there as it turns red, it would probably make sense to turn off the engine.
If you turn off your engine at EVERY light you might wear out your starter or something.
