It’s a Hummer Killer. Anyway. I want to get a personal license plate that makes fun of all the “Green” people who are trying to save the world and are against big trucks and gasoline and all of that. I was thinking GOGREEN but any other ideas would be appreciated.

It is in pretty good condition and the fluids are changed regularly. It currently gets around 25-30mpg hwy and 23-25mpg city. I am interested in getting better gas mileage so that I can save money. Would a cold-air intake work w/ this type of truck for increasing mpg. What other options are there for increasing the gas mileage. I am not interested in any of those gasoline mix-ins. I prefer a solution that would be mechanically added to the truck.

I know if you put a K&N air filter on a truck or throttle body spacers, it will improve your gas mileage, but what other gas saving options can you put on a truck, and which ones are worth putting on? I want to get a jeep grand cherokee, the limited edition ones and gas looks like its gonna rise again, but I still want my jeep! Oh, any mpg numbers for the gas saving items would be great too! OK, so i have a diesel… good right? but its a dually extended cab. Any body mods i can do to save some fuel? I don’t care about looks, not going to do much hauling. (yes i know it is ironic.)
Ive thought about taking off the outer tires, but anything else? And i wondered if replacing the bed with something else….?

If you know of a specific truck, I’d really like some ideas on what kind of truck to get! (I want a truck because I don’t like cars.)
-not too hard on the gas.
-won’t be hauling stuff.
-older the better. I like old fashioned trucks.
I’m just worried that the older they get, the more likely I’ll be without an AC and getting stuck. and the less gas conserving they’ll be.

It should be a 4cyl engine with a manuel transmission. It has to have an extra cab and preferably Toyota but necessary. between the years 1995 and 2005
