I have economy idle on my car and I keep it from going up, I’m very gentle on the pedal right now. It has helped me.

At $200 each ($800.00 a set) over the 50,000 or 60,000 miles life of the tire, that is a LARGE claim. Is there ANY proof tire design can save fuel?
If you were going to buy tires, besides buying USA made (or course) what should I look for? (factory size is P205-75R15. I did replace them with Tiger Paw’s P215-70R15 to make the ride more stable, but that was 60,000 miles ago. I can buy those again for $400.00 a set)
NICK…Are you a math major?
If my car gets 20 miles to the gallon, it would use 3,000 gallons of fuel to travel the 60,000 mile life of tires.
If my car gets 21 miles to the gallon, it would use 2,857 gallons of fuel to travel the 60,000 mile life of tires.
That is 143 gallons LESS FUEL at $4.00 a gallon for fuel…we would save $572.00.
I guess anyone can now write on Yahoo!

Why can’t they get out there and push?
I am sure it will help get a little winter flab off as well.
Safe, good for the environment, see, if a billion (1/7th) of the world’s total population will use push instead of gas, they can save on average, a billion gallons of gas each week, maybe more, depending on how many times a week they use it!
Why didn’t some smart scientist think this up, instead of me?

Spend $245 for nothing, Took other garage. They checked by handy computer, said output sensor problem. Other garage said-knock sensor & speed sensor need to replace. I don’t know what to do. Any idea to save gas which is abnormal, like 8/10 miles one gallon. My car nissan Altima 97. Thanks for your cooperation.

Basically Ive seen the MD 80′s, 717s and some regional jets from airliners without them. I noticed american has them on their 757s but why not on their MD 80′s? Obvisously one reason would be cost but from what ive read about them they save in fuel cost and help with reduce lift induced drag and provide some extra lift.
