Subaru
I can place a fuse into the main fuse box to put my car in front wheel drive according to the manuel. I am wondering if this will hurt the car or not. Because there is no point of All wheel drive during the summer.

Not only that would save fuel, but also wear and tear of the drive train. Many SUVs still come with the option of 4WD. You just need a knob to toggle it from 2WD to 4 wheel.

I do a lot of commuting and since the weather is still nice, i was wondering if driving my Subaru in FWD would save me a little bit more gas thanks. Can you please have some proof or be a technician to answer this question? Since logically it would save gas…

Are there any hypermilers out there with this car? I’m not an over-the-top hypermiler (I try not to iritate others), but I do what I can. I’m just over 25 MPG, but my goal is 30. Has anyone come close or succeeded in this? I have two years left on my lease before I can get a hybrid, so I’m doing what I can w/ what I have. Thanks!
