i have saved up $19,000 canadian since i can remember and i am getting my g2 in a couple months and have asked my parents if i can use the money to buy myself a nice car of my choice. everyone in my family encouraged me since iv saved all that money myself. i looked around an there arent many new fun cars u can get for that money and as a teenager im not really into having new cars i like used more as its cheaper. i looked into the porsche boxster 1999 model, bmw z4 and a 1999 mercedes benz slk230. my dad says that car is too old my friends say its not fast enough as it only has a V4 and….its for girls.
what do u guys think what chould i buy with that money im not into used hondas nissans and mitsubishi i was hoping an older but stronger brand like the slk. i like the fact taht itis a hardtop convertible.
what do you guys think.
can u guys give me sum info or advise such as how fast and how fuel efficent it is or anyother cars to consider??

And this way, reduce polution and dependence on oil. Think about it, zero EMISSIOns. and no expensive gas prices.
There’s just too many lazy dogs being pampered instead of used as work mates. I mean, people use donkeys and other animals in farming so why not use dogs for transportation through carriages.

Even if a city bus costs $100-$125k, the suburbs are the towns which need to add bus service. Most people who live and work already drive buses. But out in the suburbs you are stuck driving your car everywhere. Even to a grocery store, the way towns are built, there are few sidewalks in which to walk. If the U.S. wants to conserve fuel why aren’t they just doing simple things like adding the buses. (Yes i know buses add to the air pollution, but that’s a price many of us would give up in an effort to lower the price of gas. By doing this temporarily (until prices come down) the effect is no different than someone who blows a cigar puff into the clean air – it will dissipate and return to normal in short time. More buses, more public transportation NOW!! Maybe install some of those airport flat elevator walkways to zip people around too.

I had a half tank of gas and traveled 79 miles and my gas tank was empty at that point. What would make the mpg change? I drove back roads and basically drove slower to conserve on gas. Instead my car gobbled it up. Average speed 50 mph.

Seems as though there are more people doing about 55-60 in the slow lane and 65 in the middle lane on the highway around me in CT. (Speed limit 65 on most highway roads)
You still have the speeding jerks…but drivers have slowed down a bit in response to some of the suggestions on how to stretch that gallon further. Is it me or do you see this also!!! Thanks…. Sammyleggs
What state are you driving in?
The speeders are those passing threw Arkansas.
You must be one of the speeders Pyar!
Really take notice!!!
Freespirit….I hope the slower driving calms the beast in all of us and saves lives…I’m waiting for the statistics to come out in a few months that someone relates slowing down to fewer fatalities!!!
INCREASE gas prices….Not good for the pocketbook but good to people.
Joel…my time is precious too!
I can afford the prices without straining my pocketbook, but maybe those that have a hardship are taking it to heart..so what is your hurry? Are you trying to beat everyone to the gas pump and increase the carbon footprint you are leaving?
