im having a hard time finding details on the net because of advertisements that explain nothing im pretty sure synthetic oil still requires certain bi products of crude oil. i am asking this because even if we develope electric or hydrogen vehicles and mass produce them and build an infrostructure before oil prices are so high that the expence to take on such a task would make bill gates broke in a day. even if we did all that what alternatives for wheels and engines would we have worthy of moving faster the 10km an hour without burning or brakeing and train tracks is a rediculous idea might as well build rivers to boat around in. i mean even if we escape gasoline prices and dig geothermal holes super deep to produce geohydro electricity to power cars batteries but still require oil and wheels from crude eventually when a metal refillable cannister of oil costs $200 and to recharge ur battery costs five your still paying the same price to get around as we do now. the worst part is from what i can see its only going to get harder is there any brilliant person out there who sees anything different? i mean is star trek driving us to a toil of madness or is science going to save us?

………… Why not go to the “I don’t know Jack Schitt ” q&a section ……… you’d fit right in
and kneedeep? ………… 730 answers and only 97 of them are decent answers? …….. sit down. You aren’t qualified.
jc, just like the rest ………. if you don’t know about the specific question you throw in a smattering of doo-doo to evidently gain more Yahoo points.
Feel free to join the “I don’t know Jack Schitt club.’
Hey again Kneedeep,
I understand …….. in a life being a instead of being a parts installer, technology and or fabrication is not in your best interest. You’re one of the guys that have through your single-mindedness, have propagated the crappy fuel consumption that the US auto makers are used to and. Sorry, but you aren’t qualified, go back to pulling wrenches ………. I would have farted of I wanted to hear from an assh01e

Like in the movie “The Road Warrior”. Mel Gibson’s character is able to turn off the supercharger on his car to save fuel. It is activated by a switch and relay of some sort. Is this S/C bypass valve actually feasible? I imagine you would need a second throttle body to completely bypass the impellers and a second fuel map for less compression. Anyone heard of, or seen this in real life?

I know the thing has its ecoRoute, and settings to choose a route to save fuel versus choose a route that takes the least amount of time but if I’m going to take a route that will cost me an extra hour of driving I would want to know how much fuel I am saving. Is there a way to compare fuel usage on the Nuvi? I cant seem to find it if there is. I know some people might take the more fuel efficient way because they want to save the planet but I’m just thinking of save a few bucks, and if I’m only saving a buck then I would rather not waste an extra hour of my life driving and listening to my kids say are we there yet.
