I was in a friend’s car today and he was running out of fuel. He said someone told him that to maintain highest fuel efficiency was to stay between the speed of 60-80km/h. Is it because when its too high a speed, the hot air sort of gets wasted and just pushed out of the exhaust too quickly for it to be transferred into useful energy, hence saving less fuel? And if the speed is too low, the hot air has too low a pressure to produce much useful energy? hmm i dont know…I think I’m jsut confusing myself!! can someone pls help clarify this or correct me? thanks
