I am 14, so I will own a car in about 3 or 4 years, but I getting serous about saving for a vehicular device. So far I’ve been looking at the 2009 Mini Cooper JCW hardtop (engine: 1.6L I4; horsepower: 208 @ 6,000rpm; torque: 192 ft-lbs @ 1850rpm; curb weight: 2,701lbs) and the 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt SS Coupe (engine: 2.0L I4; horsepower: 260 @ 5,300rpm; torque: 260 ft-lbs @ 2,000rpm; curb weight: 2,926lbs).
According to their 2004 counterparts (2005 for the Cobalt – no 2004 model), the Cobalt should be about $9,000 when I buy, and the Mini should be about $13,000.
So I’m looking for a fuel-efficient car (30-ish mpg?) with some power that is in the $10,000ish range at the time of purchase.

I’m wondering if there are any special spark plugs that actually save fuel economy. Ive seen the E3 spark plugs… Also, what O2 sensor brand is the best? I was thinking about replacing mine.
Is SNG a good 02 sensor manufacturer?

I heard of ways of saving money even while gas prices are through the roof. I’m looking for ideas of how you save(i.e. habits that you may have) to be more fuel efficient. I’m well aware things like supermarkets that offer price discounts. I’m looking for answers that are not obvious like “drive less”.

I wanted to know the difference between a 4 stroke and a 2 stroke dirt bike. I am looking at getting a 125cc and i want one that takes gasoline only, not the gas/oil mixture. I am looking to start riding next year, so i’m trying to save up now for the bike. It looks like all 125cc come in 2 stroke only and I don’t know if that has anything to do with the gasoline or not, so please help me find one that just runs on regular gas.

My family is trying to save money on fuel, but we need to keep the space. Right now we have a mini-van that gets about twenty five miles per gallion on the high way, I think.
