I have a 2001 Lexus IS300 stock. It is a 3.0 liter tiptronic (automatic and manual) with a V6 VVTi engine. My fuel economy is 18 city and 23 highway. Which saves me more gas, driving in manual or driving in automatic? And what are some ways to save me gas in general such as a cold air intake/lighter tires/dropping metal? Thanks!

Got a new Lexus RX350 and love it but trying to save on gas, I was wondering how truly crucial it is to use the premium gas recommended. Does it really damage the engine? Or does it just decrease the performance minimally and not worth the cost?

I know better airflow increases little hp, but I’m more interested in saving fuel since I commute far. I know tornardo is a scam, so I’m looking for any ideas to save gas any other way without stripping the interior, taking out a/c, or taking out the spare tire. Any good ideas will be much appreciated. If you happen to drive IS300, let me know from your experinces.
