If Exxon were allowed to drill for oil in ANWR and between drilling and refining costs were able to sell that oil as gasoline for $4/gallon while paying taxes (income tax on profits and royalties from bidding for the right to drill) that total $2/gallon, how is that of almost no savings to US citizens?
That $2/gallon in taxes and royalties to Uncle Sam and Pelosi would be $2/gallon that is available for whatever “good” spending needs (Medicare, welfare, food stamps, education, college loans) that the Dems in Congress want. Right?
