I think it is so crazy when people wait in line to save a couple of cents per gallon. I have a 40 gallon tank, even if I filled it up that’s only a savings of 80cents, which I would have wasted idling, waiting in line.

Yikes im paying $3 a gallon for gas in florida and its killing my wallet .. i don’t have the credit to buy a better mpg car and im hurting for alternate ideas??

Admittedly, I am not a fan of auto racing, but still it seems to me that it’s not a good example to have these events with their displays of wastefulness of fossil fuels when the rest of us are expected to conserve gas and energy.

and all I can afford–purchased at a car auction by my brother. I live below poverty line, barely surviving, disabled, not on bus line and need a car, but it is so expensive.

There is a limited supply of gasoline. It takes like two extra minutes to drive 15 miles at 60mph, and you can save a tenth of a gallon or so. Multiply that by the millions of people that drive fast to work each day, and you are talking real conservation, with little penalty.

Gas has risen 3 times over the last week where I live, right now a regular unleaded gallon of gas will cost you 3.30! I live on a farm, so we use gas for more than our regular trucks, any suggestions on making it more bearable on my wallet until gas prices start to come down?
