Ford built a fuel saving carberator in the early 70′s that got over 100 miles to the gallon. I hear our big oil company’s went together and bought the patent from Ford. I guess if our government was concerned at all we would be able to buy cars here in the USA like they have in Europe that get close to 200 miles a gallon. How bad is it really going to get for the USA????????????????????????

I pretty much know the obvious cool air intake and driving habits. But do those chips that advertise fuel efficiency actually work? What else could i purchase or do?

It has 173,000 miles on it. I want to sell it because I’ve saved about enough money for a newer one. It runs pretty well but needs the Fuel Injecters flushed eventually. Not sure How to price the thing.

the car can be drive for a fair distance and all the sudden it will die, it will start back up after a while and do the same thing, you cant hit the gas when it starts to die and save it, so is the fuel ump going out or is there something in the tank that is plunging the line and then backing off?????

I already put a K&N air filter in it, should I put in a complete intake system and a new exhaust? I plan on keeping it another three or more years, is the investment worth the money I’d save in fuel?

I know its a big machine and it’s suppose to be a gas hog, but it must get probably 5 miles per gallon! Which is horrible… is there anything I can do to it… or is there anything that could be causing it to eat gas so badly?
