With the (up to) 10% ethynol in our gas I went from 16.5 to 15.5 mile per gallon. I average about 15.5 gallons per fill up. With this loss (only 1 mile per gallon) at $3.00 per gallon, I lose about $2.79 or 0.93 gallons per fill up. Looking at it another way I could say I am paying $3.18 per gallon.
So is this helping us or not?
I stand corrected on my spelling. It is indeed Ethanol. Thanks for catching my error.
