Cruiser.

I had a tune-up on my 2005 PT Cruiser. Since then my mileage is a lot lower. Is there any way to rectify this

I had a half tank of gas and traveled 79 miles and my gas tank was empty at that point. What would make the mpg change? I drove back roads and basically drove slower to conserve on gas. Instead my car gobbled it up. Average speed 50 mph.
