Lets say I am going 200 miles non stop with cc set at 75mph……… would this save gas over my normal driving between 70-80mph with frequent acceleration and deceleration?
Also what if i was driving downhill and I dont have to give gas for 7 miles due to gravity……. does it save gas even tho engine is running still?

It seems like my gas actually depletes even faster using cruise control…not sure if it’s a myth or not. But it makes sense in that you’re traveling w/ a consistent speed and the engine in general is not fluctuating as much.
