I commute 90 miles each way to work and I need to save some of this money! Quitting my job or transferring is not an option. I already bought a fuel efficient car (38 mpg), but I’m thinking about staying in the town where I work for a couple of nights a week!

Are there special hotels or extended stay business suites? Any affordable solutions to stay where I work for a couple of days?

Product Description
A little bit of money saved on fuel prices here, a little bit there, it adds up quickly.
First, and most obvious, drive a fuel-efficient car. Get yourself a sedan or maybe even a hybrid if
you’re willing to spend a little more up front.
You shouldn’t drive like a maniac, even if your car gets 50 mpg on the highway. Don’t peel away
from the intersection when the stoplight turns green. The harder you press the gas pedal, the
more gas is consumed. Get your foot off the pedal and let momentum propel your car forward.
That’s gas saved, and money earned back from fuel prices.
Don’t buy premium gas unless you absolutely have to. Premium gas, unless you’re driving a
high-end car, is a complete waste of money on fuel prices. If you’re looking to shave a little bit
off your weekly gas bill, odds are you aren’t driving a car that benefits all that much from
premium gas…. More >>

I was just scammed with “Ethos FR”, which I learned after the fact that it’s Vegetable Oil (Canola Oil), mixed with a few cutting agents. My net savings were actually a loss with the cost of the product mixed in. I run a fleet of trucks and I NEED something that works!

When my reality is that electricity costs more that gas. I have read three articles this month that state that the average cost of electricity is ten cents per KW. But my SCEdison average cost is over 25c and my tier 5 (or marginal) cost appears to well over 40c and maybe 50c with taxes and users fees. And there is no discount for “off peak” to use electricity at night. This seems to equal gas at four to five dollars per gallon?
