Product Description
In Kick the Fossil Fuel Habit, author Tom Rand, (engineer, Cleantech authority, venture capitalist, pragmatic entrepreneur and philosopher) doesn t provide a ”three-easy-steps” approach to fixing our dependence on fossil fuels. But he does show it’s possible to do without them. By giving an in-depth look at ten technologies that together can bring a clean future, free of fossil fuels, Tom provides education and hope. This is a clarion call, a directive that we act quickly and collectively (governments, corporations and individuals) to provide future generations the opportunity to live in a sustainable world. Unique in being accessible to the general public, his message is not just important, but understandable and entertaining. His personal views and anecdotes are combined with a hardheaded engineering and business perspective. Beautiful color photographs bring the text to life. It is this generation’s job to save the world we know for the next. Kick t… More >>

I know this question has been asked a million times on here, and I have read the answers.
But Im confused-
I have a 2000 Eclipse GT. I just removed the EGR Valve and the vacuum hose from the top of it and brought it in the house. It’s sitting right next to me but I’m not sure what to do.
I’ve read several answers that said to “spray it with carb cleaner”, but if i do that, what about the insides that wont get cleaned from simply spraying it?
a toothbrush cant get to them.
What about the little tiny metal pipe that the vaccum line plugs into? Shouldn’t that be cleaned out too?
Should I soak it ENTIRELY in gasoline? in something else?
Another answer said to “make sure I dont get carb cleaner on the diaphragm”
What’s the deal with this?
Does that mean I SHOULDNT soak it?
Also, a guy at AutoZone said to blow through the pipe at the top and if it opens then it’s clean enough?
[i cant get ANY air through at the moment..]

any of these questions that you can answer will save my life!

I heard before that if you added a little bit of veggie oil to your gas tank, that it would not harm it, and you would save money. Will this mix ok with the regular gasoline? And how much can I add?
